Who We Are

Relate Derby and Southern Derbyshire’s dedicated team have been supporting local people for over 70 years. Our specially trained counsellors are experienced in working with adults, children and young people. We work closely with Relate Chesterfield, delivering services across Derbyshire and East Staffordshire. Our main office is in central Derby, from where we provide counselling services.

We are an approved NHS provider of psychological therapies. We are commissioned by the NHS. As part of their Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT), we provide free and high-quality talking therapy services for adults and young people (16 – 18 years old) who are living in Derby and Derbyshire and are experiencing depression, anxiety, and relationship problems. You can access this service if you are registered with a GP in one of these areas. If you are not certain, please contact us.
